Behind the Scenes Work That Keeps Everything Moving
When people think about the West Yellowstone Foundation, they often think about our visible work like transportation, scholarships and community grants. What they don’t always see is the work behind the scenes that keeps all of that running smoothly. That is where this role comes in.
A Role That Keeps Things Organized
We are hiring a Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support daily operations, with a focus on office systems and our transit program. This is a steady, detail-oriented position that helps ensure everything stays organized, accurate, and on track. If you are someone who takes pride in getting the details right and keeping things running efficiently, this is the kind of work that matters more than most people realize.
What the Work Looks Like
This role includes a mix of:
Administrative tasks like data entry, filing and reporting
Supporting our transit program with logs and tracking
Assisting with communications and marketing materials
Helping prepare for board meetings and our annual fundraiser
Most of the work is independent and desk-based, with some variety throughout the week.
A Good Fit For Someone Who…
Is highly organized and detail-oriented
Works well independently
Takes ownership of their work
Cares about accuracy and follow-through
Flexible, Part-Time Work
This is a year-round, part-time position (8–16 hours per week). Training will take place during weekday business hours, but once established, the schedule becomes more flexible. There are also opportunities for additional hours during our busiest season leading up to our annual fundraiser in September.
Why It Matters
Behind every successful program is someone making sure the details are handled correctly. This role helps ensure our organization continues to operate effectively and serve the community.
