Hiring: Program Manager

Updated: Apr 9

Are you passionate about supporting rural communities, creating educational opportunities, and building impactful local programs? Do you thrive in a flexible work environment where you can make a difference every single day? If so, we’d love to meet you!

The West Yellowstone Foundation is hiring a Program Manager to lead several of our core programs, including the Scholarship Program, Community Grant Program, and support for the Public Transportation Program.

This is a full-time role (minimum 32 hours per week) with a flexible hybrid schedule. The Program Manager will work independently day-to-day while collaborating closely with the Executive Director and community partners. Responsibilities include overseeing application cycles, managing data and disbursements, supporting committees, and helping track program outcomes.

We’re looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and mission-driven—someone who can manage multiple priorities, communicate clearly, and work well both independently and as part of a team. This is not an entry-level position; experience in nonprofit or program coordination is strongly preferred.

Position Details:

  • Title: Program Manager

  • Wage: $25–$29/hour, depending on experience

  • Schedule: Minimum of 32 hours per week, with some flexibility

  • Location: Hybrid (in-person work required in West Yellowstone office)

  • Benefits: Paid time off (no health insurance offered)

  • Year-Round Position

Together, we can build a stronger, more connected West Yellowstone—one scholarship, grant, and bus ride at a time.
