We are hiring substitute drivers, join our team!

We provide weekly round trips (Tuesdays & Thursdays) for any purpose with advance reservation in a first come first served basis. Service for people with medical appointments has priority. Our bus is equipped with lift-equipment for people with disabilities.


If you need a ride for a medical appointment, you should call us as soon as possible. We will need the date and time of your appointment, address, and approximately how long the appointment will last (if you know). Please let us know if you have any special needs such as a wheelchair. If your appointment is rescheduled or cancelled, or if things change and you no longer need a ride, please call us immediately to let us know.

West Yellowstone Foundation Transit Policy and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 states:
"...no person in the United States shall be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal assistance based on race, color or national origin."

  • What is the cost?
    Per passenger: $10 round trip $50 Airport, one way
  • What info do I need when I reserve a ride?
    -Preferred date of service -Name -Cell phone number -Pick up address -Drop off locations (usually 2-3 are allowed) -For airport rides, number & size of bags -Let us know if you need any special accommodations or a chair lift
  • When do I pay?
    When you are picked up.

  • Where does the bus pick up?
    We pick up riders within the Town of West Yellowstone town limits and at the junction of 287 & 191 or you can meet us at the bus garage if you prefer.
  • How do I pay?
    Cash is preferred, we also take local checks.
  • What days and times does the bus operate?
    Tuesdays & Thursdays: roundtrips from West Yellowstone to Big Sky, Belgrade and/or Bozeman. We typically pick up in West Yellowstone between 7:30pm-7:45am. We leave the Bozeman area no later than 2:00pm.
  • Do you make provisions for people who have limited mobility?
    Yes but we need to know at the time of reservation. One of our vehicles has a wheelchair lift and space for tying down wheelchairs. If you use a walker, you can either use the lift to get onto the bus, or our driver can assist you getting up the steps.
  • Are food or drinks allowed on our vechicles?
    -We would prefer you did not eat or drink on our vehicles but if you do- cleanup after yourself please -No alcoholic beverages -All other beverages must be in a container with a lid -You are allowed to eat on our vehicles but nothing with strong odors
  • Are facemasks required?
    Not usually but we reserve the right to require facemasks at the driver request. Facemasks are available on all vehicles.
  • What items are prohibited?
    -No firearms/weapons of any kind -No explosive materials such as fireworks, gasoline, car batteries -No open alcohol containers -No marijuana products (in accordance with Federal regulations as we travel through Federal jurisdiction)
  • Are animals allowed?
    Service animals are allowed and must be mentioned at the time of reservation. Other animals may be allowed on a case-by-case basis. Must be mentioned at the time of reservation. Lap carrier required. Animal cannot be disruptive.
  • Do the drivers speak Spanish?
    Our Bozeman drivers have a translator app or we can use an interpreter line.
  • Who can ride the bus?
    Anyone! Our services can accommodate many transportation needs, including getting to and from the airport, appointments and shopping. Our goal is to reduce the transportation barriers to find and retain employment, independent living, and simply getting you to where you need to go.
  • How should I wait for the bus?
    Best: Be outside or near the door so you and the bus driver can see each other when the bus arrives.
  • How far in advance do I need to schedule my ride?
    We recommend you reserve your ride as soon as you know you would like to travel. You must request your ride at least one day in advance of when you need your ride (before 4pm the day before). You can set up a ride up to one month in advance. Please make sure you call dispatch if you do not need a ride on any particular day. Your reservation is not complete until you receive a confirmation from us.
