Nominate Your Favorite Local Volunteer!

Calling all community members of West Yellowstone & the Hebgen Lake Basin area!

We need your help in recognizing an extraordinary individual who embodies the true spirit of compassion, selflessness, and dedication to our community. It's time to nominate our Legacy of Gold recipient for this year's award. We need YOUR input!

We are seeking a community member who fearlessly gets involved, generously shares their talents, and blesses our lives through their remarkable actions. This individual goes above and beyond, stepping outside their comfort zone to prioritize the needs of our community. They are true humanitarians, guiding, assisting, and inspiring others to address important causes with unwavering courage and confidence.

Their efforts are often performed voluntarily, expecting no compensation other than the satisfaction of a job well done. They work quietly, without seeking recognition, but their impact is felt by all who benefit from their kindness. It's time for us, as a community, to express our deepest gratitude and appreciation.

Nominate the unsung heroes in our midst who embody these remarkable qualities. Help us shed light on their extraordinary contributions, even if they shy away from recognition. The Community and the West Yellowstone Foundation want to come together to say "Thank You" and honor them in a special way.

To nominate someone deserving of the Legacy of Gold award, share their name, a brief description of their outstanding contributions, and why you believe they should be recognized. Your nominee should have lived in the West Yellowstone or Hebgen Lake Basin area at least 10 years. You can see past recipients and submit your nomination by filling out this google form: https://forms.gle/EPCSwEGZHf3e9bYv7.

Let's celebrate these remarkable individuals who make our community shine brighter. Together, we can acknowledge their selflessness and inspire others to follow in their footsteps.

Nomination deadline: July 26th, 2023. Award ceremony: The Happening, September 16, 2023.

Thank you for your participation and for helping us honor our unsung heroes!
